Blackbird Soap Company began in October, 2009 and is a small home based business where all products are completely handmade. Our soaps and products are made from scratch using only 100% natural oils and ingredients. We do not test our products on animals and all fragrances used are phthalate-free.

After finding a passion for soapmaking and the desire to pamper your skin in a more natural way, Blackbird Soap Company shrives to research the latest information about natural oils, butters, botanicals and high-quality essential oils in the drive to bring you only the best quality in body, skin and lip care.

Located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Blackbird Soap Company will always label your products with all the ingredients used in all the products you're purchasing, allowing you to have a peace of mind in knowing what you put on your body.

Our soaps are handcrafted from scratch (not melt & pour) in small quantities using traditional cold process methods.

All of our products are made 100% in the USA! Although we do not provide walmart prices, we do not rely on cheap foreign labor to manufacture our products! When you purchase from us take pride in knowing you will receive a fantastic homemade, natural product as well as be supporting an American family business!

I like to think this quote fits me well. Being a mom, wife, sister, friend, and a dreamer often makes me feel that way... But this wouldn't be an ABOUT ME page if I left you like that, so here is a bit more about me...

So who am I? I am a Christian, wife, and proud mother of 2 girls.

I'm a day dreaming head in the clouds kind of gal. It's as simple as that. I can't think of a time that I wasn't this way. I love to dream of fairy tales and far away places that could only exist in the mind of a dreamer such as myself. If only life could be as exciting!

So what does a dreamer like me do? ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING Crafty! I'm very passionate about the great world of arts. You name it I've probably tried it. Painting is an ol’ time favorite of mine but it's quite time consuming when you have a family. So where does soap fit into all of this? Well in this world of countless artificial junk I found myself being more aware of the things my family and I ate and used. During a trip to a farmers market I discovered the beautiful art of soap making. Thinking I had never done this made me even more interested in learning more. Before you know it I was making soap.

I loved making soap so much I decided it would be a blast to sell. And that is where we reach an end.

I put all my heart, thoughts, and creativeness into each recipe, the art, and the stories that go behind each name to help give way to each scent.

I truly hope you enjoy my products as much as my family, friends, and I do.
